No museum in the world generates profits: we operate for the benefit of society. Today, the COVID-19 crisis is threatening our survival and that of many other museums.
Staying afloat has not been easy. Our operation depends on the income that visitors provide, and this source of revenue disappeared on March 15, when we closed our exhibitions. The more optimistic scenario points to a reopening in October, and with 75% fewer visitors than last year.
If you believe in the transformative power of museums, we invite you to cooperate with the amount you can give, in order to help us keep telling the world, today more than ever, why biodiversity is so important. Help us celebrate Panama's biological and cultural diversity, and create agents of change to care for the planet.
